Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1:
Why does a SurgeGuard have the liquid inside its bladder, as you say this limits the cushion prefill pressure?
Answer:
With the liquid inside the bladder, as the pressure increases the bladder simply expands until it is supported by the pressure shell. This feature enables surgeguards to work in applications that are required to operate over a wide range of pressures.
